Keeping baseball FUN, especially in the early stages of youth baseball-is a primary concern of Milford Junior Major League’s Cal Ripken Division, which is comprised of the following:
Born to Play (Ages 3-4) • $35
One Hour Weekly Clinic to Introduce Baseball to Future Stars.
Coach Pitch (Ages 5-6) • $65
We have added an additional division this year to provide 5 & 6-year-old players an opportunity to play longer games with smaller rosters, while having the opportunity to experience coach pitch ahead of most area leagues.
Rookie (Ages 7-8) • $125
Where the Cal Ripken program begins to make a difference by introducing a pitching machine that allows our players to develop proper hitting techniques by throwing consistent strikes on the proper trajectory.
Minor (Ages 9-10) • $165
Players begin to pitch for the first time while learning situational skills to prepare for the next level. Our minors’ program is planned as a progression to the new rule’s players will experience at the next level.
Major (Ages 11-12) • $185
7 Inning Baseball Games on the transitional 50' 70' Diamond played under real baseball rules. Players learn to lead, steal and hold runners on in advance of their progression to the MLB size field.
Founded in 1951, Babe Ruth Baseball League was created for ballplayers ages 13-15. This is where players get their baseball cleats muddy for the first time on standard 90' diamonds. Our Babe Ruth division is made up of:
Babe Ruth (13 Prep) • $245
Our 13U Prep Program is open to 12 & 13-year-old players on the MLB Size Diamond. We take
great pride in having this 13 & under program as players transition to the big diamond and
learn how to play the game the right way.
Babe Ruth (14/15 Preseason) • $165
For Non-High School Players during the months of April & May.
Babe Ruth (15U Summer Program) • $245
Summer program begins right after Memorial Day weekend and runs through the first week of August.
Challenger / Bambino Buddy Ball (All Ages) • $0
The Challenger / Bambino Buddy Ball Division allows our challenged or special needs athletes to enjoy the game on the same level that is experienced by other participants.
Players are provided with uniform hats and shirts prior to the season start. Players should expect to bring their own helmets, bats, gloves, grey baseball pants and protective gear to practices and games. The league provides team managers with team equipment bags consisting of catcher's gear, baseballs, a hitting tee, practice bases and a pitching machine, if applicable.
