JML adult membership is mandatory for all managers, coaches, and other volunteers (scorekeeper, parents in the dugout or on the field, etc.) that will be interacting or have contact with our league players.
In addition to registering as a JML member, compliance with the Federal Law - Safe Sports Act is required. Successful completion of a background check and completing an abuse prevention training program is required. The background check and abuse training are valid for two years. Anyone taking the background check & abuse training prior to 1/1/20 will be required to do so again in order to eligible for the 2021 season.

To begin the SportsEngine Babe Ruth League, Inc - 2021 Background Screen Registration click the link above. In order to complete your background screening, you will need to create a SportsEngine account, and submit your personal information, including your SSN. The background screening process is typically completed in five days from the date of submission. Note: When registering, select New England for the Region and Milford Junior Major BRL/CRL as the League. Allow 90 minutes for Abuse Prevention Training.
